A man dies of old age on his 25 birthday. How is this possible?

You can take four of the five letters out of this word, but the pronunciation never changes. What is the word?

Two friends were stuck in a cottage. They had nothing to do and thus they started playing cards. Suddenly the power went off and Friend 1 inverted the position of 15 cards in the normal deck of 52 cards and shuffled it. Now he asked Friend 2 to divide the cards into two piles (need not be equal) with equal number of cards facing up. The room was quite dark and Friend 2 could not see the cards. He goes to second floor and again repeats the process. He keeps doing this till he is done on all the floors. Then he returns back to the floor and tells his team that it is a murder.

A girl was sitting in her hotel room when she heard a knock on the door. She opened the door and found that a man was standing outside.
