Non-Stop Marathon

A non-stop marathon is the shared favourite sport of three brothers.

*The oldest one is fat and short and trudges slowly on.
*The middle brother's tall and slim and keeps a steady pace.
*The youngest runs just like the wind, speeding through the race.

"He is young in years, we let him run!" the other two brothers explained, "'because though he is surely number one, he is second, in a way." Why is it?

There are hundred red gems and hundred blue gems. The blue gems are priceless while the red gems equal wastage. You have two sacks one labeled Heads and the other Tails. You have to distribute the gems as you want in the two sacks. Then a coin will be flipped and you will be asked to pick up a gem randomly from the corresponding sacks.

How will you distribute the gems between the sacks so that the odds of picking a Blue gem are maximum?

I have a sore throat and a severe headache. I have four tablets with me that are identical to each other and they do not have any cover on them. There is no way I can identify which tablet serves what purpose. The only thing that I know is that two of these four tablets are for the throat and the remaining two are for the headache. To treat my condition, I must take 1 of each. What will I do now?
