Yesterday I fell from 30 feet high ladder but I don't get hurt. Why?

A sea diver is a real show-off. He showed everyone that he can hold his breath underwater for 15 minutes.

I went to the diver and told him that I can be underwater for double the time i.e 30 minutes.
He responded that he will give me 100$ if I would be able to do it. I won 100$.

A famous swimmer can swim downstream in a lake in exactly 40 minutes with the lake current.
He can swim upstream in that lake in exactly 60 minutes against the lake current.
The length of the lake is 2 km.

How long he can cover the distance of one side at a still lake with no current?
